The Community Sailing Foundation's mission to change lives through the sport of sailing and boating activities for young people. Many of our children have never been exposed to or been able to participate in sailing and boating due to financial and physical constraints. It is our vision to make sailing and boating opportunities available to any child regardless of financial status, race, gender, ethnicity, or other limiting socioeconomic factors. Courses for Licensing, Tankerman, Radar Observer and Designated Examiner. The River School has offered travel courses in the Pittsburgh and Huntington areas. By opening a branch office equipped with a radar simulator, we can offer mariners in the Ohio River Valley a full range of license preparatory and Coast Guard approved courses as well as custom training programs.
