East Brother LIght Station has been an active lighthouse for more than 133 years. The Point Fermin Lighthouse Society is a 501(c)(3) non-profit, tax-exempt educational organization dedicated to the history and preservation of the Point Fermin Lighthouse in San Pedro, California. The Point Fermin Lighthouse Society was originally formed in the 1960’s by local residents William Olsen and John Olguin. At that time, the Society was known as the Point Fermin Lighthouse Committee. In 1974, the Committee changed its name to the Point Fermin Lighthouse Association. The Society has been instrumental in restoration and preservation projects, educational programs, and volunteer recruitment. San Pedro, California.

Pt. Sur lighthouse and its supporting lightstation buildings, now a California State Historic Park, stand atop a dramatic volcanic rock just off-shore in Big Sur, California. This historic aid-to-navigation has a modern aero-beacon which still guides ships along the treacherous Central California Coast. On the National Register of Historic Places and a California landmark, Pt. Sur can be visited by guided walking tours year round.

St. George Reef Lighthouse Preservation Society
SGRLPS is a non-profit organization formed in 1988 whose goals were to first acquire and then preserve the St. George Reef lighthouse. The Government Services Administration (GSA), and Del Norte County completed the final transfer of St. George to the Society in 1996. The aim of the Society is to preserve this historic structure for future generations and to tell the story of the role this lighthouse played in the maritime history of the West Coast.
