Australian Sailing
Australian Sailing is the national body for the sport of sailing in Australia, from grassroots sailing through to high performance (Olympic) sailing. Australian Sailing is a Federation consisting of eight State and Territory Associations, often referred to as Member Yachting Associations (MYAs). In turn there are more than 360 affiliated Clubs, who between them have approximately 65,000 registered on-water members. As a member of World Sailing, Australian Sailing actively works to influence international sailing policy and regulations. Australian Sailing also helps strengthen the sport globally by supporting key World Sailing programs and communicating international sailing policies to our member State Associations.

The Barbados Sailing Association (BSA) is a non-profit organization that promotes the benefits of sailing to all Barbadians. It is the governing body of sailing in Barbados. It has several affiliates, including the Barbados Yacht Club, the Barbados Cruising Club, The Barbados Windsurfing Association, the UWI Sailing Club, the Barbados Optimist Dinghy Association and the International One Meter (Model boats). It is in itself an affiliate of the Barbados Olympic Association, as well as ISAF, the global sailing federation.

Our aim is to develop, support and promote sailing, through our core values of Inspiration, Representation and Participation. We maintain standards of training and coaching. It is one of the very few sports in which able-bodied sailors and Para sailors can participate on equal terms. The Para World Sailing Committee is responsible for sailing for people with disabilities worldwide. The committee is responsible for the Paralympic Sailing Programme including Events and Equipment selection. It promotes, assesses and supports programmes for Para sailing run by their Member National Authorities (MNAs).
