Swedish Sailing Federation. The Swedish Sailing Federation is one of 70 special sports federations affiliated to the Swedish National Sports Federation, RF, and one of 41 Olympic special federations in the Swedish Olympic Committee, SOK. The Swedish Sailing Federation has approximately 98,000 individual members divided into 324 clubs, 16 districts and 66 class federations. Our activities are conducted in associations, districts, class associations and the Swedish Sailing Association - we are an integral part of the Swedish sports movement. Everything we do in Swedish sailing aims to develop the sport of sailing. We also conduct activities that benefit sailing in general and by doing so we actively contribute to increasing interest in both recreational sailing and sports sailing. Virgin Islands Sailing Association (VISA) is the USVI MNA (Member National Authority) to World Sailing (WS). VISA is also the Sailing Federation member to VIOC (Virgin Islands Olympic committee) representing the sport of sailing in the US Virgin Islands. VISA is the organization that administers all sailing activities in the Virgin Islands. Each yacht club and sailing class in our territory must be a dues paying member of VISA to compete internationally. Members include St. Thomas Yacht Club, St Croix Yacht Club and St John Yacht Club. In addition local Sailboard Organizations and other such groups have been members in the past. VISA currently pays dues to ISAF, VIOC, PASA, ITLA (Laser) & IODA.

The Yachting Association of India is officially recognised by the Indian Olympic Association and the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of India as the governing authority for sailing, windsurfing, motor boating, powerboat racing and personal watercraft, at sea and on inland waters in India. As such the YAI is responsible for promoting the sport in the country, developing and training of judges, umpires and other administrators of the sport and representing the sailors in all matters concerning the sport.
