Study Abroad with SEA Semester: Ocean Science & Sailing Program - Nautical, Maritime, & Oceanography Studies. SEA offers college level semester at sea, high school, and teacher programs focusing on oceanography, maritime studies, marine biology, sailing tall ships, and the environmental study of oceans. Sea Education Association is an internationally recognized leader in undergraduate ocean education. For 40 years and more than one million nautical miles, we have educated students about the world's oceans through our fully accredited study abroad program, SEA Semester. Corwith Cramer, named after SEA's founding director, was designed by Wooden and Marean specifically for SEA and was constructed by ASTACE in 1987 in Bilbao, Spain. She is a 134-foot steel brigantine built as a research vessel for operation under sail. Robert C. Seamans, SEA’s newest vessel, was designed by Laurent Giles of Hampshire England, and built at JM Martinac shipbuilding in Tacoma, Washington. Named after former trustee and Chairman of SEA’s board, the Robert C. Seamans is a 134-foot steel brigantine and is the most sophisticated oceanographic research/sailing school vessel ever built in the United States. SEA is based on Cape Cod in the oceanographic research community of Woods Hole, Massachusetts.

YachtAid Global (YAG) provides humanitarian aid, conservation, and disaster response leadership. Our work encompasses global programs, logistics management and consultation for superyachts which want to contribute to the world around them. We facilitate volunteering by yachts and crew as they work on humanitarian and conservation initiatives in the communities they visit. When a natural disaster strikes, we coordinate the acquisition and delivery of humanitarian aid to impacted coastal communities, working with a global network of volunteers, vetted NGOs and disaster relief experts. YAG abides by agenda-free program work. We work with vetted strategic partners and proven processes to ensure timely, needs-verified, ethical and responsible humanitarian and conservation work.
