North East Grand Banks Owners Association (NEGBOA) formally came into existence as an independent owners organization on June 1st, 2004 and is actively encouraging owners of Grand Banks Heritage, Eastbay and Aleutian yachts to join. Silver Line Boats of Moorhead, Minnesota was formed in 1959 as Moorhead Plastics to manufacture and sell fiberglass boats. For the next twenty years they built thousands of top-quality boats and sold them around the world. The factory was closed in 1980 and the name has since gone to a new boat company. As none of the old records or information were available, this website was started as a gathering place for images and information pertaining to those early Silverline boats.
