    The Royal Bermuda Yacht Club is one of the oldest Royal Clubs in the world. Its beginnings were formed under a calabash tree by British military officers and Bermudian sailing enthusiasts. So began a story and a history of romantic proportions. The Royal Bermuda Yacht Club is a private Club and is the third oldest club holding a Royal Warrant outside the British Isles. The Bermuda Yacht Club was established on the 1st November, 1844 by a party of thirty gentlemen, consisting largely of officers in the British Army, most of them belonging to the 20th Regiment, then stationed here in Bermuda.   • Royal Hamilton Amateur Dinghy Club Royal Hamilton Amateur Dinghy Club
    Club offers sailing regattas, sailing lessons for adults and juniors, tennis courts, social events, bar & dining room, and more. We are a club dedicated to the advancement of sailing as a sport, and accordingly we participate in and sponsor a number of sailing regattas and related activities, with the biennial Marion-Bermuda race being perhaps the most famous. In addition, we provide year-round sailing instruction to junior and adult sailors and boast the largest junior sailing fleet in Bermuda.     The Sandys Boat Club is a cozy club at the west end of Bermuda and home of the Bermuda Fitted Dinghy, Challenger II. In 1934-35, there was a group of men who would regularly have races between themselves in Mangrove Bay. They thought that they had a good thing going and decided to form a club to bring others together for sailing, boating, and social events.
