  • Yacht Club de Ilhabela Yacht Club de Ilhabela
    Ilhabela Yacht Club is one of the most important nautical clubs in Brazil. Founded in 1956 to support nautical activities, the club has become a reference in nautical leisure and social interaction in one of the most beautiful spots on the São Paulo coast. Its headquarters in the city of Ilhabela has all the structure for guarding vessels of up to 100 feet, in a floating marina supplied by water, electricity, an effluent collection and treatment system. In the social area, YCI offers its members a large restaurant overlooking the São Sebastião channel, TV rooms, space for children, American bar, sushi bar, gym and social spaces. The club hosts sports activities such as the biggest sailing competition in South America, the Ilhabela International Sailing Week. It hosts the Ilhabela Sailing Ocean Circuit, with four annual stages. It also carries out the Náutico Rally and organizes activities such as trips to its sub-headquarters at Saco do Sombrio.     With a trajectory that marks the lives of generations, whether in pioneering the first Sailing Club in Rio Grande do Sul, or in promoting sport and nautical culture in our region, the Rio Grande Yacht Club completed 88 years of a beautiful and fruitful story on June 9, 2022. The RGYC provides a patio for sailboats and motorboats that are parked on land. The Club also offers a second Yard for vessels that are undergoing maintenance. RGYC has a swimming pool for children and another for adults. The João Hugo Altmayer Sailing School's principle is to teach and improve students in the art of sailing.
