    The Club de Mar embryo was created in 1948 by some one hundred and forty fans who came together to organize nautical sports in Almería, armed with the enthusiasm and drive that youth provides and driven by a great desire to do something good for and for Almería. In the 70s modern sports facilities equipped with a swimming pool, gymnasium, changing rooms, floating pontoons and stores for supplies were implemented and the Sailing School was launched, with two initiation classes (Optimist and Cadet), and Snipe fleets, Europe, TDV, Laser and Cruises. Later he established a Sports School to teach swimming, diving, skiing and other specialties. In the following years, the Club de Mar achieved an important sporting record in results and in the organization of sporting events, which accredited it as one of the most outstanding yacht clubs in Andalusia and Spain.   • Club Nàutic Costa Brava Club Nàutic Costa Brava
    The club was established and federated in 1946. Its activity began progressively in 1958 in the Spanish Rescue Service installations. The Club de Vela de Palamós was created in 1970 to promote sailing and to continue the sportive tasks initiated by the Club Nautic Costa Brava. The Club de Vela organizes among others activities the well known international regata “Christmas Race”. The National School of Sailing was created by the Spanish Federation of Sailing in 1971 and they utilized our installations for training the Olympic Spanish teams of sailing. Moreover, have been organized World, Spain and Catalonia championships. In April of 1995 Ports de la Generalitat authorizes the modification of the Club installations. In 1996-97 the present installations are built. The present concession of the Club finalizes in July 2018.   • Club Náutico Santa Eulalia Club Náutico Santa Eulalia
    Club Náutico Santa Eulalia was founded in October 1991 by a group of friends in the town by the river. They put all their enthusiasm and effort into making the dream of a yacht club in the town come true. Thanks to all these people, the founding members who supported this project and the Santa Eulalia Town Hall, it was finally possible to raise sails. Since the last obligatory adjustment, the articles of association define the club as a non-profit private association. Its aims are to promote, develop and continue to offer physical activity and sport as well as to protect disabled people, children, people who are at risk of social exclusion and to provide social services of general interest. The current sporting sections are sailing, swimming and canoeing. Furthermore, we organize other social activities and events such as the traditional procession of Our Lady of Mount Carmel, water activities on the beach as well as diving, among others.     The Monte Real Club de Yates de Baiona (Vigo · Pontevedra) offers quality moorings with all the conditions of accessibility and comfort for sailors (sailing and motor). We organize numerous regattas throughout the year. The club has been using the fortified area called “Batería del Cangrejo” (Crab’s Battery) from the 14th century in the Monterreal peninsula of the villa de Baiona. Club de Yates’ philosophy is based on two fundamental premises: Encouragement of international nautical tourism, and Organization of international regattas. With these premises in mind, Monte Real has organized various editions of the Lymington Bayona, various European and World championships and several level one Mach Race regattas. On the other hand, Monte Real became in 1989 the first Spanish sailing club to challenge the America’s Cup, the oldest sports competition.
