RBYC has the oldest burgee in California. In 1978, when the RBYC was formed, the old California Yacht Club had just ended it’s illustrious career. The Sacramento State Aquatic Center is a cooperative operation of the Associated Students Inc. of California State University, Sacramento, the University Union of Sac State, California Department of Boating and Waterways, and the California Department of Parks and Recreation.
