Captain's Quarters Yacht Club was opened in 1991 and sits on approximately 15.5 acres. The marina has 206 floating slips that are all owned by members in a dockominium style deed arrangement. The slips in Captain's Quarters range in size from 12' wide x 46' long to 28' wide x 75' long. All slips have city water, 30 and/or 50 amp electric, cable TV and phone service to individual power pedestals. Wireless internet access is available throughout the marina. Harrods Creek, Kentucky

A privately owned boating community located in Prospect, Kentucky at Ohio River mile 589.8, the Rose Island Yacht Club offers members a protected marina with scenic views of the river. The marina features 139 boat slips, which are deeded to their owners. The club is managed by a nine owner board of directors, and features a full-time harbormaster. The marina features a pool and a clubhouse, which are available to slip owners. Security is provided to members by means of a gated entry, security cameras and watchful boat owners. Individual slips provide hookups for electricity, water, cable and phone, as well as free WIFI. Carts are provided to assist members in provisioning their boats, and a dumpster is provided for trash disposal after your weekend on the water. Prospect, Kentucky
