Captain's Quarters Yacht Club was opened in 1991 and sits on approximately 15.5 acres. The marina has 206 floating slips that are all owned by members in a dockominium style deed arrangement. The slips in Captain's Quarters range in size from 12' wide x 46' long to 28' wide x 75' long. A privately owned boating community located in Prospect, Kentucky at Ohio River mile 589.8, the Rose Island Yacht Club offers members a protected marina with scenic views of the river. The marina features 139 boat slips, which are deeded to their owners. The club is managed by a nine owner board of directors, and features a full-time harbormaster. The marina features a pool and a clubhouse, which are available to slip owners. Security is provided to members by means of a gated entry, security cameras and watchful boat owners.
