The Las Vegas Sail & Power Squadron is a unit of the United States Power Squadrons. We are a volunteer, non-profit, fraternal boating organization that has the objectives of education and civic service. We offer boating safety courses on a regular basis to boaters in the Las Vegas Valley. These courses are open to the public and there is no age limit for participants. The Nevada Yacht Club (NYC) was formed in 1963 with its foremost purpose being the encouragement of sailing as a recreational activity and sport.
