The Crescent Boat Club was formed in 1867. The Erie Power Squadron, started in October 1937, is in USPS District 11 and is located in northwest Pennsylvania, headquartered in Erie, Pa. Fairmount Rowing Association was founded in 1877. The facility, #2 Boathouse Row, is on the National Register of Historic Places.
