Bear Lake is a Freshwater Lake straddling the Utah/Idaho Border. It lies about 130 Miles North of Salt Lake City. The Club organizes and sponsors social events, sailboat races, and other member activities. The Club has a long-standing history of cooperation with the Bear Lake State Park Marina. Our Mission: To promote the sport of sailing to adults and children in the greater Park City community. Park City Sailing sails at the Jordanelle State Park - between Park City and Heber City, Utah. The lake is 6 square miles at 6200' elevation. The Jordanelle was created in 1995 and is a future water supply for Utah. The laser fleet sails out of the Personal Watercraft Ramp (PWC) area – there's a 40' storage container and fenced area for laser storage. The Jr. Sailing Program operates out of the Beach House. The Utah Airboat Association is a group of like-minded waterfowlers that love airboating and want to help preserve/protect our Utah marshes. We also work in partnership with other conservation organizations to keep our GSL wetlands protected. The yearly dues are only $30.00 (CHEAP!). We have a yearly spring banquet that raises money to fund our projects. On occasion, we provide tours of the marshes in order to raise awareness to the plight of our wetlands here along the shores of the Great Salt Lake.
