The Virginia Inland Sailing Association is a non-profit organization offering sailing, social, and recreational activities for our members and guests. We are located next to Bernard's Landing on beautiful Smith Mountain Lake in Virginia. We are not a marina but instead a self-help club. Our members are involved in many ways. The Virginia Yacht Club is one of the longest operating cruise clubs on The Bay. Established in 1948, VYC has been navigating the waters of Virginia and Maryland every summer, with lots of events and great friends. Cruising is the name of the game for the Virginia Yacht Club. The Warwick Yacht & Country Club was created in 1958 by a group of people whose interests were boating and recreation. The property was purchased, the ground broken and the clubhouse formally opened on December 26, 1960. WPYC is located at White Point Marina on White Point where the creek meets the Yeocomico River. The Yeocomico joins the miles wide Potomac River just around the bend. Travel nine miles by boat down the Potomac and you are navigating the Chesapeake Bay. Facilities at the marina include a club house, pool, tennis court, small beach for launching canoes and kayaks, and a 50 slip marina. Kinsale, Virginia
