  • Friends of Red Rock Lake (FORRL) Friends of Red Rock Lake (FORRL)
The Friends of Red Rock Lake is a community organization of residents, businesses and recreational users of Red Rock Lake in Eden Prairie, Minnesota. The sharp decline in the water quality of the lake over the past decade, as evidenced by the growth of noxious and invasive weeds and declining water quality, is a call to action to improve the overall health of the lake. The lake’s health is a reflection of the development and environmental stewardship of the 1262-acre Red Rock Lake sub-watershed, roughly bounded by Mitchell Road on the east, Highway 212 on the north, Dell Road on the west, and Pioneer Trail on the south. A healthy Red Rock Lake positively affects flood control, economy, aesthetics, recreational use as well as wildlife habitat, which in turn makes the lake a vital asset to the entire City of Eden Prairie.
