Sierra Club-Dacotah Chapter explores, enjoys and protects North Dakota's outdoors, wildlands and natural resources, from the native prairies of the Sheyenne National Grasslands to the rugged terrain of the Badlands to the Little Missouri River. Members of our local groups also organize outings, take action on local, state and national environmental and conservation issues and policies, and enjoy the camaraderie of people who believe in the value of our natural world. Outings include hiking, bicycling, camping, backpacking, canoeing/kayaking, cross country skiing and snowshoeing and anything else that sounds good.

The primary responsibility of the North Dakota State Water Commission is to provide effective management of North Dakota's water resources.
