The Rendezvous is held annually on the third weekend in July at the Port Orchard Marina in Port Orchard, Washington. The purpose of the rendezvous is to provide an opportunity for Chris Craft owners and their families to share the pride and enjoyment of the boats they love. All Chris Crafts are welcome regardless of size, age, model, construction material or condition. The focus is on fun, cameradery and, of course, our Chris Crafts.

The purpose of the International Power Boat Association (IPBA) is to promote the safe piloting of pleasure boats and to sponsor and sanction predicted log racing contests to improve the piloting and seamanship abilities of contestants. Although we call our sport Predicted Log Racing, it is actually a navigational contest where the contestant "predicts" how long in hours, minutes, and seconds it will take him or her to get from point to point on the race course. IPBA sanctions contests in the Pacific Northwest, including Washington and British Columbia, Canada.

Annual Guide to Northwest Boating from Weatherly Press. The first edition of the Waggoner Cruising Guide was published in the spring of 1994. The book wasn’t very thick, and it covered only Puget Sound, the San Juan Islands, and the Canadian Gulf Islands. It lacked many photos and had only a few maps. Although its coverage was limited initially, this book had one quality boaters seemed to recognize: it was written for them. The book contained factual, unbiased information about Pacific Northwest cruising and marine facilities, and it was easy to read and use. Today, the guide has grown in size and coverage area (now Olympia, Wash. to Ketchikan, AK), and it has added many new articles, tips and stories. The Waggoner Cruising Guide mission is to provide essential boating information for Northwest waters and to display it in an easy-to-use, entertaining format.
