The Fort to Field 50 Paddle Battle is a 50-mile paddling adventure and competition. It pits kayak and canoe enthusiasts against all the wild, windy aspects of an amazing and remote stretch of South Dakota's most scenic river. It's open to all paddled craft. The course is set on a beautiful segment of the Missouri National Recreation River, a lesser-known jewel in America's Midwest. We are a membership-based organization. Our goal is to get more people on the water and enjoy what the Sioux Falls area has to offer. Our organization offers membership events, pool sessions, river clean ups, kayak classes for ages 13+, kayak tours, free member river classes, overnight trips, whitewater destinations and group paddles throughout the summer.
