- Adelaide Canoe Club
Adelaide Canoe Club
ADELAIDE CANOE CLUB is a recreational club for kayaks and canoes with a Canoe Polo component for those wishing a little competition. The club has no formal club rooms but often use the Canoe SA facilities and, sometimes, equipment for meetings and training sessions at West Lakes: this keeps our costs down. Most members carry their kayak or canoe on their car to a predetermined meeting point for the activity as publicised in our program. Our membership is a good mix of males and female paddlers with most of them owning their own craft. West Lakes, SA Australia

- Adelaide Phoenix Dragon Boat Club
Adelaide Phoenix Dragon Boat Club
Adelaide Phoenix Dragon Boat Club trains in Adelaide, but competes Australia wide and internationally. Established in 2009, the club has experienced a high degree of competitive success in Open (under 40) and Senior A (40-50) age categories. We train and race hard, but our membership is diverse. Regardless of age, fitness level and experience we aim to create a balance between high level competition and accessibility for all to the sport that we love. The social aspect of our club is also an important part of who we are. We train and race hard on the water, but continue to build our team off the water. We enjoy sharing a drink, off water training and travelling wherever our various competitions are being held (which has included Hong Kong, Italy and just about every state of Australia!) Our members know that a strong club off water means a stronger club on the water. West Lakes, SA Australia

- Adelaide Survivors Abreast | Dragon Boat Racing in Adelaide
Adelaide Survivors Abreast | Dragon Boat Racing in Adelaide
Dragon Boating offers participants a sport which is suited from novice to sporting types. It's a fun sport that promotes exercise and teamwork, and is family oriented. Adelaide Survivors Abreast Dragon Boat Club Inc was established in 2005. ASA members promote breast cancer awareness by training and fundraising to compete in dragon boat racing locally, intrastate, nationally and at times, internationally. Our aim is to support those living with, or who have gone through the trauma of breast cancer, by encouraging them to participate in the sport of dragon boating, either in a social capacity or by racing with a competitive spirit, as a way of celebrating life and "seizing the day". In doing so, we promote breast cancer awareness and the early detection of breast cancer, especially in younger men and women. West Lakes, SA Australia
