    Kayaking rivers and coastlines in New Zealand's lower and central North Island. The Ruahine White Water Club is a group of friendly, enthusiastic people from all walks of life (including both born-and-bred Kiwis and more recent arrivals to New Zealand) who explore rivers and sections of coastline. Trips range from afternoon jaunts down the lower Rangitikei river to week-long expeditions in the Marlborough Sounds or down the Whanganui River. Members kayak as far north as the Wairoa River in the Kaimai Range, and as far south as Fiordland.
