The sporty, demanding activity on the water, a combination of coordination, dynamic movement, coordinated technology and the experience of nature, all of this is what makes rowing so attractive! Rowing is not only a competitive sport, but also a fitness sport for everyone. Rowing means exercise for every fitness level. This sport is equally suitable for healthy people as it is as a rehabilitation measure or as training for the disabled. The Swiss Rowing Association (SRV-FSSA-FSSC) was founded on December 5, 1886 and is the umbrella organization of the rowing clubs, the regional rowing associations and the regatta organizers in Switzerland.
