Arkansas B.A.S.S. Nation
Sponsors tournaments, youth activities, and works on environmental concerns. B.A.S.S. was founded by Ray Scott in 1968 in Alabama. Since its very beginning BASS has been active in local, state and national conservation issues. Many of our original goals were directed toward protection of our natural resources. Since 1968, groups of bass fishermen throughout the United States and the world have joined to create BASS chapters with one common goal — to learn how to become better bass fishermen.

- Arkansas Fly Fishers
Arkansas Fly Fishers
The Arkansas Fly Fishers (AFF), "Central Arkansas' Fly Fishing Club", celebrates over thirty years as an organization and as an affiliate chapter of the Federation of Fly Fishers. Founded by three long-time FFF members (Frank Brown, Jim Wingfield, and Dave Whitlock) back in 1973, it was only natural that the AFF would adopt the FFF's motto as their own, "To Conserve, Restore, and Educate through fly-fishing". Since its founding, AFF members have strived to share their knowledge of fly-fishing with both their fellow members and the general public. Today, the AFF offers numerous fly-tying venues, fly casting instruction by FFF Certified Instructors, periodic classes in rod building, and sponsors classes for the Boy Scouts of America's Fly Fishing merit badge. - North Arkansas Fly Fishers
North Arkansas Fly Fishers
The North Arkansas Fly Fishers was founded in 1983 and incorporated as a non-profit corporation of the state of Arkansas in 1985 and today has over 450 members. From the beginning, we’ve been active in conservation and education and that interest continues to this day. We are especially proud of our record in youth education. We have conducted fly fishing and fly tying classes for Mountain Home home schooling organizations and have taught fly fishing and fly tying to students and youth groups at the Norfork National Fish Hatchery and Dry Run Creek. Our activities in the realm of conservation include actively supporting efforts to save Crooked Creek and supporting regulations to maintain our great fishery on the White and Norfork Rivers.
