Halton Dive Charters
Scotland & Norway Dive Boat Charter. Scapa Flow is the top wreck diving location of the northern hemisphere and home to the scuttled German High Seas Fleet. On the 21st June 1919 more than 70 ships, almost the entire German Navy, were scuttled under the orders of Admiral von Reuter. Today these wrecks lie between 20-50m below the surface, most in close proximity to the small island of Cava. Also diving in the Sound of Mull, Shetland, and Norway. The diving in Norway is renowned for great visibility, awesome wrecks in pristine condition and minimal currents. The Gulf Stream brings warmer water into the fjords where the high mountains and tight squeezes make for a dramatic vista above and below water. Dry suit diving at its best, Norway hosts intact WW2 wrecks in clear water on precipitous slopes. Stromness, Orkney, Scotland, UK
