The Waterhawks Ski Team is one of the most active ski clubs in the State of Iowa. The club was organized in September of 1958 with 16 charter members who had an interest in promoting ski safety, boating and family fun on the water. Membership increased rapidly and today has over 100 members. In the 2004 season, 55 of these were Show Ski members while 15 were 3 Event Ski members. The Waterhawks have performed not only many shows in Iowa locations but also in the states of Wisconsin, Minnesota, Michigan, Illinois, Nebraska and Ohio. Waterloo, Iowa
