The Brunei Darussalam Meteorological Service (BDMS) is a section under the Department of Civil Aviation (DCA), Ministry of Communications. BMS began his operation in the late 1950s at the Old Brunei Airport site. A Meteorological Station was later set up and observations were carried out to meet aviation requirements. Since then, the BDMS has developed into the national agency for the provision of meteorological service.
